The 4th annual Health & Wellness EXPO promised to be bigger and better this year – and it was.
Today’s busy lifestyle can often be stressful and sometimes overwhelming. Managing stress will keep your mind clear and deflect any changes that the body makes during stressful times, keeping you healthy and free from getting rundown and susceptible to illnesses.
According to the CDC, heart disease is the leading cause of death for men, women, and people of most racial and ethnic groups.
National Handwashing Awareness Week in 2024 will take place from December 1–7. The week is observed to raise awareness of the importance of proper handwashing and good hand hygiene.
Here in the Weaver Mountains, we will celebrate Rural Health Day on Friday, Nov. 22 with a combination event: Medicare Workshop: Rural Health, Diversions and Medicare Updates. This will be held in the Wheelhouse, right next door to the Yarnell Regional Community Center, at 12:30.
As we age, illness is often part of the mix. Working and communicating with nurses, doctors and family members is critical to aging well. Letting people know how you are feeling is very important. Communication is truly a key to aging successfully.
The 3rd Annual Health & Wellness EXPO has received rave reviews on social media, in conversations, on the evaluation forms… We are so happy, proud, tired, grateful! It takes many hands to make an event like this possible.
