Hello, my name is Deanna Hurst.

I am excited to join the Weaver Mountains Health Initiative as a Program Coordinator.  I am a native of Phoenix, Arizona.  I am married with two adult children.

I look forward to the opportunity to offer healthy living options for our rural area.  I believe rural doesn’t mean isolated!

I started in the medical field as a Medical Assistant, before transitioning to a home computer consulting business.  I eventually found education was my calling, serving in the capacity as an Early Childhood Educator for children birth to five years and ages 6 to 12 years as a School-Age Program Coordinator. I recently moved to Wilhoit, Arizona in 2018 and I currently enjoy working as an Administrative Assistant at a local Elementary School, serving children Preschool to Eighth grade and their families.

I look forward to continually evolving my service to the rural communities.
