This annual event is a key way to promote our mission:  fostering connections for healthy living in the Weaver Mountains. 

Art Contest to Showcase Healthy Living

The annual Health & Wellness EXPO, hosted by the Weaver Mountains Health Initiative, will feature several new programs this year.  First, the WickCare Clinic, the new mobile unit of Wickenburg Community Hospital, will be on site during the EXPO at Model Creek Elementary School on Sep. 21. Second, we’re offering residents, young and old, a chance to showcase their artistic talent.  Art in any medium – drawing, painting, photography , etc. – will answer the question:  What does healthy living look like?  Suggestions to inspire creative answers to the question will be included in the upcoming months’ Yellow Sheet, along with more details about contest rules. CASH PRIZES will be offered for Youth art submissions, and adults will have the chance to win a two-night get-away!   We’re letting you know early so that you can begin thinking, sketching, doodling, and painting just to get your creativity flowing. What a great way to spend hot summer days!
